I have never posted here but that poor person who posted may never come back bc
of the fun poked at them. If someone frequently tickled, and held down against
their wishes, they are powerless. Excessive tickling is not good for a child
at all, i know that is does sound out of the ordinary, but just imagine that
you were the person who was held down, and touched, and tickled for an
excessive amount of time. I think this persons concern is a valid one.
I was tickled at age 7-8 yrs old and held down by my step father in a corner on floor tickling me. Since then something snapped in my brain, i stopped being ticklish but soon started having tremors, and my anxiety became worse because i could not trust people around me... over the years i developed depression, and then was traumatized again by a pedophile and constant harassment at school being bullied. then Anxiety got worse and no sensation from anywhere to be tickled. had school troubles. became introverted depression got worse... graduated...with major deep depression, then years got worse from job to job.. the in my 30's i was in a home trailer fire that after that my Ptsd became so worse that i began having dissociation from present times and place...memory problems happen ...i became disabled and now take meds and therapy just to get through the week.... so tickling someone can have terrible results if you cause someone pain....thanks.
