I have a mate who is the son of a Vietnam veteran who is in end stage cancer
(given about another 2 months). It seem his fathers cancer is an Agent Orange
effect.

Does my mate (Australian born/nationality) have any recourse against the US
Govt if he (or his children) are affected by the AO 'gene'? Or does he have
to go through the Australian VA?

His father lives in Seattle, my mate lives here in Brisbane.

Another silent victim of that terrible war. Well known second and
thrid generational effects. I see the birth defects and there are some
thoughts SIDS can be implicated as well. It is wrapped aroung the
genes.
We had similar with the Narangba Industrial fire where Agent Orange,
blue and red chemicals were released through the night, with the
breeze pushing over our home. Organophospahte stink for ages. We still
haven't had a satisfactory reply and they have built a new school in
direct eye sight of the estate- silly. Barb
